Hi There,
I found you through Virtually Acoustic online, and wondered if you'd like to come and perform at our Bar Latina Acoustic Vibe nights?
This night has been running every Tuesday since late October 2007, in a great cosy and friendly venue, with good attendance, many musicians and A&R scouts, and an eclectic range of artistes.
Style ranges from Folk, Latin, RnB, Jazz, African, Hip Hop, Rock, Rap.... most anything.
We are working hard to build a reliably great quality music venue in a cultural desert, and it's met with enormous response so far!
5 singers/bands get a 20 minutes set, which does not pay a fee, BUT you get a free drink each, (free door entry for all), and most importantly, a free video showreel MPEG on CD (ideal for uploading to Myspace etc) of your performance, with good lighting.
The good news is that as a tiny incentive and "thank you" we are now offering a cash prize - the audience on each night get to vote for the best act of the night (in their opinion), who is be then invited back for a "6 of the best" type showdown, to win a hearty £100 cash prize.
There are normally 5 varied acts on each week, so a good variety of people in attendance, and a really nice night out. All of the musicians has commented on the good sound, great vibe, and organisation, and all want to return. It's a good way to try out new material/showcase new releases. You can also sell CD's here.
Each night is listed in the Press, online, and on our weekly updated website.
